Our goal at New York Cornea is to offer our patients friendly and personalized professional care. Our doctors are specialists and consultants in the treatment of disorders and diseases of the cornea and anterior (front) part of the eye. Common disorders we treat include keratoconus, herpes keratitis, corneal edema, corneal dystrophies (such as Fuchs Dystrophy) and degenerations, corneal ulcers, dry eyes, corneal scarring and infection, as well as trauma or inflammation of the anterior segment.
Dr. Florakis and Dr. Fan-Paul were trained at the prestigious Harkness Eye Institute at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Herzlich was trained at the renowned Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Florakis and Dr. Herzlich have special expertise in corneal disorders and surgery. Dr. Fan-Paul specializes in corneal disorders as well as the screening and medical treatment of glaucoma.
